Short-Term and Medical Aid Representative

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable person to fill the position of Short-Term and Medical Aid Representative with our company.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining our existing book as well as promoting and selling short-term insurance and medical aid products to clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  2. Sales: Meet or exceed sales targets by effectively promoting and selling short-term insurance and medical aid products where needed.
  3. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client enquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  4. Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities to identify new client opportunities.
  5. Documentation: Accurately complete and submit all necessary documentation and reports.
  6. Training: Participate in training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge and industry regulations.
  7. Networking: Attend industry events and network with potential clients and partners.
  8. Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  1. Sales Experience: Preferably in the insurance industry.
  2. Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to clearly convey complex information to clients.
  3. Customer-Centric Approach: Strong focus on delivering high-quality customer service.
  4. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse client needs and recommend suitable products.
  5. Time Management: Efficiently manage time and prioritize tasks.
  6. Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with team members and other departments.
  7. Problem-Solving Skills: Effectively handle client issues and find solutions.
  8. Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using CRM software and Microsoft Office and other relevant tools.
  9. Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and client needs.
  10. Integrity: Maintain high ethical standards and transparency in all dealings.
  11. Excellent typing skills.
  12. Wants to create a career in this industry.
